This class is will offer some dance cardio along with a weighted bar and the pole as tools to strengthen and lengthen while you smile and have fun. Some days will be filled with Island Rhythms and others may be more of an Urban Beat Down but either way you will love how great you feel to start your day! Athletic shoes suggested.

STRUT

What is STRUT? S-Sexy, T-Tough, R-Rebels, U-Uniquely, T-Trained!!! Are you looking to learn choreography and add some musicality to your life? This is for you!! The choreography you learn may be using a prop such as a chair or pole (this is not a pole class but may use the pole for a prop in movement) and will lead you through a fun choreo piece. This same choreography will be taught and expanded on throughout a several week period so you can really dig deep to find your inner dancer!

Pole Classes

Intro to Pole

This class is geared to the true beginner. In this class you will learn the basics of pole dance at your own pace. Perfect if you have never tried pole dance, or want a review of the basics. We will learn beginning spins and transitions, and work towards building foundational muscles. Recommended attire of tank top and shorts, or whatever you are comfortable dancing in. Please don't apply any lotions or oils within 12 hours before class.

Level 1 - Climbs

This class is for those who have taken Intro to Pole, have the basics down, and are ready to grow their repertoire of moves. We’ll continue to build on the foundations from Intro, grow our repertoire of spins and sits, and really work on combining moves together. This class also introduces climbing and conditioning which will prepare you for the next level. Sample moves may include: tuck spin, long sit, chair spin.

Level 2 - Inverts

This class is for those who have built a solid foundation of pole dancing and are ready to challenge themselves. Level 2 will introduce inverting, intermediate spins, and aerial transitions. We will have a greater focus on conditioning, begin working our side climbs, and play with some more difficult combos. Sample moves may include: leg hangs, superman, Jamilla. Instructor approval is required.

Level 3 - Aerial Inverts

Level 3 is for students who are ready to begin combining moves in the air. This class will build on basics, combining moves, and learning new ways to move up and down the pole, while concentrating on proper form and gaining strength. We will begin working on shoulder mounts and aerial inverts, while building on your knowledge of basic inverts, climbs, and sits. Sample moves may include: laybacks, iguana, sneaky v. Instructor approval is required.

Exotic Pole Dance

Strap on your Pleaser heels and explore exotic pole dance! In this class, we will explore concepts of exotic pole; this includes technical skills but also explores individual self-expression and sensuality. The class is geared towards level 1+ polers, or people who have taken a Beginner Heels workshop. Knee pads required, Pleaser Heels required (7-8 inch recommended for beginner/intermediate)

Pole Conditioning

This strength and conditioning class is designed to build the strength you'll use for pole. You'll build foundational strength with exercises both on and off the pole, which can help you progress quickly and safely. The class is focused on training the muscle groups that will help you learn to climb, invert, and deadlift later on down the road in your pole journey. No matter what level you are, conditioning is key! Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. This class is suitable for all levels.
